| It's an evil, unforgiving ailment.?The more you procrastinate, the less you achieve.?The less you achieve, the more depressed you become.?The more depressed you become, the more you procrastinate."I'll wash the dishes later.""I'll mow the lawn when it gets warmer.""I'll start my diet tomorrow.""I'll start my novel next week.""I'll tidy the loft during the holidays.""I'll go and see my Mom when I get paid."The truth is: we all procrastinate (even me!)?And then you look at your Mom or Dad and wonder how much longer they've got on this earth! We all see some truly awful e-mails come around, containing puppies, flowers, schmaltzy poems and pieces of cod-philosophy.??
Nevertheless, there is one that I really like, and there's a line in it that says, "Live each day like it's your last."I try to observe that line and fill each day with as much as I can.?The photos in this blog represent my travels. |
| The photos in this blog represent my travels.Last night I had dinner with a friend I haven't seen since 1982.?We had a lot of catching up to do!Last weekend, I spent Sunday with my daughter and beautiful grandchildren.?Yes, my one-year-old granddaughter already has 'that look'.On the Saturday, I did my monthly radio show and our club night Tokyo Bottom Pinchers in London.?The night before, we did Tokyo Bottom Pinchers in Hertford. The weekend before, I went to see my Mum and Dad at their house in Hove, and met up with my sister and her partner.A few weeks ago, I went to a West Indian community centre in Birmingham to meet some young entrepreneurs, and Kiss FM DJ Big Ted, record producer Baby J and I dispensed (what I hope will be) some good advice.Last month, we launched Tokyo Bottom Pinchers, my new buddies Neil and Angela came to see us, and my old friend Andrew Roachford popped in as well.My Christmas present is being made use of.?I take it wherever I can, capturing images of my wonderful life.?You don't have to tell me: I know I'm lucky.?Wanna know my secret??I know it may sound morbid but I live each day like it's my last. |
