The Jordand and Liana Chronicles: Installment |
| Greetings to the three or four folks who still read my blogs.?I assure you that I value each of your attention.?Today, I am starting a new series that I have been considering for some time.?My daughter is without question the coolest young lady in the entire universe.?On a recent Infamous Lady T post, I recalled one of her stories about her two best friends, Jordan and Liana.?Well these stories just keep on coming.?Especially lately.?I have been walking her to school in the mornings (in defiance of GW and Penis Cheney's punk asses), which gives us a wonderful opportunity to talk.?Friday, we had the following convo.Me: (as we leave the house to walk to school)?So what you got going on at school today?Her:?Today we have the Jogathon, and I want to win!?Because the winner usually gets a trophy, and I really want to get that trophy.Me:?Really?Her: Yes!?It will be my first trophy!Me:?What about all of your awards?Her:?Yeah, but they are not trophies.?I want a trophy!Me: So, anything new on the Jordan-Liana front?Her:?Well, um, this doesn't really involve Liana and Jordan, but it involves all of us including me! Me: Do tell.Her:?Well, Jordan is always the highest fundraiser for Jogathon day.?She ALWAYS wins.?So we were thinking that she was going to choose Liana if she won this time, because Liana has never been on a limousine before (not a typo, I am not sure if the school is piling the kids on top of the limo or whatmust look into this).??BUT, Jordan is telling me she is going to choose me, which is scary because Liana will be REALLY mad.Me:?I thought you said this wasn't about Jordan and Lianathis is ALL about Jordan and Liana!Her:?Papa!?(laughs) Her:?So anyway, I am trying to tell Jordan to take Liana so Liana doesn't get mad, because she would not just be mad at Jordan, she will be mad at me too!?Liana usually gets mad for like, a day or something and then she is our friend again, but this time, she might be mad forEVER!Me:?Liana sort of holds you guys hostage to her emotional outbursts, eh?Her:?Yeah, she's good at that.Me:?Why is Jordan not choosing Liana?Her:?Well, you see, I asked Jordan that same question, and she said she was doing it as payback for Liana pinching and slapping her all the time.Me:?Oh my!Her:? |
| Her:?Liana is always pinching and slapping us.?Like if you say something funny to her, she will slap you!Me:?Really??Playfully or for real (Papa is concerned now)?Her:?Well, she is just playing, but sometimes it hurts a little.Me:?So you guys regret all these slaps and pinches.Her:?Not really.?I told Jordan this would be a HUMONGOUS payback.?I mean she would be paying Liana back HUMONGOUSLY!!Me:?Did you just make up a word?Her:?I thought that was a word!Me:?I don't think soI could be wrong but Her:?OK Tremendously!Me:?You ever think of slapping her back?Her:?Naw cause if I hit her back I could hurt her.?Because I am used to fighting with my brother.Me:?Oh.(Papa is thrown off by this revelationmust look into this)?Well I guess that is a good thing.?You wouldn't want to hurt anybody.Me:?So what are you going to do?Her:?I don't KNOW!?Because I really want to see downtown Disneyland!Me:?Are you sure Jordan is going to win.Her:?She ALways wins!!Me:?Hmm.?What a pickle.Author's note:?My daughter ran out of gas at the Jogathon, but there was no trophy passed out, so she is happy she lost.?We won't find out the Jogathon rundraising results until after spring break.?Stay tuned! |
