The Curse Of The Do-Gooders
The Curse Of The Do-GoodersAs the British National Party passed the 5% voter threshold in recent elections to the London Assembly, a member of the British National Party will be able to take their seat in the democratic forum that shapes?London. The British National Party is a white-only, far right political organisation that wants to keep Britain 'British'.To a guy who was born and bred in London, who has seen the ethnic mix of London change, and who has enjoyed the diversity that brings to my home town, it is astounding that more than 5% of the population want a BNP member in the London Assembly.Nevertheless, I am not surprised.Unfortunately, the more liberal (left wing) members of our establishment, in their attempts to 'do good', have serious overestimated the intelligence of London's less educated people.I'm not totally sure why 'do-gooders' do 'good'??To ensure a passport into Heaven??To alleviate some of their white, middle class guilt??Or maybe they naively believe that everyone is inherently good?In the sixties, because British people were too arrogant and lazy to do menial work, immigrants from Asia, the West Indies and Africa were invited over to become nurses, bus drivers and cleaners.?England's ethnic mix changed accordingly and everyone eventually got on just fine!If you don't follow a recipe precisely, a cake will not turn out as you expect.?If you use too much or too little flour or if you bake it for too long, the cake will not taste right.Similarly, the UK's 'do-gooders' have no regard for the mix and, as a result, we now have a BNP member in the London Assembly.?Immigration was positively beneficial to the UK in the fifties, sixties and seventies, but now there is an argument that it is not.
Immigration was positively beneficial to the UK in the fifties, sixties and seventies, but now there is an argument that it is not.In the last decade, the UK's immigrant population has been massively swelled by people from Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Albania etc.?Since 2004, more than 700,000 workers from Eastern Europe have come to the UK.?The do-gooders at the European Union felt that the UK had the resources to cope.?Well, they were sadly wrong. So, why is there an increase in BNP voters?Because there are a growing number of poor, less educated people who want to blame immigrants for their problems. If you speak to these BNP voters, they will say that immigrants have taken their jobs, immigrants have taken their council homes, and that immigrants are getting free handouts from the Government, despite not having paid taxes. Now, whether that is true or not is irrelevant; there is now a BNP member in the London Assembly. So, what's the solution??Reduce the immigrant population??Educate the uneducated??Find jobs for the unemployed??Give hope to the disenfranchised??All of these are massive and very costly tasks! It's just so ironic that these 'do-gooders' campaigning for freedom, equality and civil rights have actually let the wolf in through the back door, there is now a rat in the kitchen or, to use a more www analogy, a virus is about to infect all our programs!
