| A?week ago today?my Daughter and 4 year old Grandaughter were riding in?their Ford Explorer (Big) to my house, when a man ran a stop sign and hit them.?The impact was so intense it caused?the Ford Explorer to roll over 3 times and finally hit a house...It's been a very long week, to say the least.?Thank God They both survived...they were both?wearing their seatbelts..Otherwise the outcome would have been completely different, as per?EVERYONE we've talked to.As they were only a few blocks from my house, I was able to arrive at the scene fairly quickly..The people at the scene were just?wonderful, from the guys,?(bystanders)?who pulled them out of what was left of??the vehicle to all the wittnesses, to the lady who lent my daughter her cell phone so she could call me, to the rescue workers, firemen, cops..the ambulance people.The 4 year old seems to be okay but is talking a lot about death and dying and freaking out the teachers in her Pre-K class...My daughter just got?released from the hospital but still faces more tests and?surgery in the near future..But dispite all of?that....I still know we've been very, very, very?blessed this week.......This was A Close One! |
