So....ten things about me....I doubt any of these will be new to some of you, but some might...depending on how long you've been reading my blogs.But here they are...1) I am an American Idol Addict.Can't help it.I watch the audition rounds in January so I can feel better about my own singing and then I get sucked right in.I can name the top 2 finalists in each of the previous 6 seasons and even a few 3rd place finishers.2)?I am a karaoke geek.I've been involved in it since 1995.I've owned my own karaoke business, and was a part of the karaoke world contest for 3 years, serving as a regional finals host during those years and a judge at the national finals in 2006.3)?People think I'm weird.And if you've read my blogs then you can see those thoughts are validated.I admit that I'm weird.But in a good way.So what if I like my naked time?4) I am a touchy-feely person.I crave physical touch.When I'm with a special someone, I like to have their hand in mine or my arm around them.When I sleep with someone and I wake up suddenly, a simple touch to my back or shoulder will put me back to sleep.To me, there's just something particularly comforting about that.5) I like bad jokes, especially puns. |
| 5) I like bad jokes, especially puns.The stranger the better.Anything to catch people off guard.Sometimes the funniest jokes are the ones you never see coming.Did you hear the one about the 2 gals with nice melons?6) My first real job after college was McDonalds.I enjoyed it so much I ended up working for them 3 times in my life, each time for about 2 years.The last time I worked for them was 1995, and I had worked my way up to a Manager Assistant position.Good Times.7) I used to eat a lot.People would wonder where it would all go.I wonder why I never got any bigger than 240 lbs.I don't think I had an eating disorder or anything, I simply liked food.I like the different tastes and textures and when I found out I was diabetic, it took a while for it to sink in that I couldn't eat like that anymore.And really, I can't, because I get full a lot sooner these days.But still...what I wouldn't give to enjoy a really good pizza again, loaded with all the toppings...8) I'm really bad about leaving comments sometimes.When I stop by other blogs I always go in with the intentions of leaving a comment, but sometimes, "Great Blog" just seems so shallow and empty.I'm trying to get better, really....9) If you haven't heard by now, I wrote a book!!It will be available soon through wordclay.com.A link to my book's website is at the top of this blog, right underneath the cafepress banner.I have two more books in the works - one is an anthology of my erotic short stories and poems, the other is a murder mystery that my daughter will be helping me with.10) Finally...I have a special affinity for banana splits.I think they are a wonderfully fantastic blend of flavors and should always always always be shared with someone special.If you need more information than that as to why I like them so much, you'll need to buy the book I mentioned in number 9 above!And I hate to be the party pooper, but I'm not going to tag anyone today.Of course, if people want to do this, I would encourage you to go ahead. |
