| Interview questions for your blog:1.The dream left unfinished, the road left untravelled? What are yours????Had to spend some time thinking about this.I'm not sure which recesses of my past - childhood, adolescence, or later - taught me to dream small, but I always have.Little chunks of achievable dreams, as opposed to grandiose plans to conquer the world. So I guess there aren't any unfinished ones.Although there IS that recurring dream about the lottery.??Roads? There are literally hundreds of roads I could have traveled over the years, so it would be tough to pick just one and say - yeah that one.I wish I had explored it.Curiousity about EVERYTHING, and planning NOTHING does that to you.I want to see 'em all.2.What three people would you invite to dinner, & why did you choose them????Ex-wife, Ex-significant other, and some other Ex.Just because I like to watch the fur fly.???If they were busy, Steinbeck, John Irving, and John Updike.???Steinbeck???Irving???Updike3.Opposite spectrum question: What inspires you? What scares you????"The Right Thing".Read a book called "Hackers" that cronicles, among other things, the beginning of the computer movement at M.I.T. in the '50's.The nucleus was a club of engineering students that had an elaborate model railroad setup, which was always under development and modification.Computers immediately grabbed their attention, and they held that for any problem, there was a solution that was "The Right Thing".When you saw it, you immediately recognized it, and knew that it was the very best, and in fact, the only logical solution. Those roots flow all the way through the current GNU/Linux, and it still inspires me. And every now and then, I still see "the Right Thing" when I'm fooling with a problem.???Fanatics.Anyone who thinks that they should impress their beliefs on others because they are right.I don't count, because I KNOW I'm right.4.Best movie ever, and why????Falling Down.An interesting tale of how a normal human can actually be quite mad, and go even madder under the right circumstances. Also a look at a cross section of L.A., and many of it's denizens in a Tragi-comic setting.Michael Douglas, Robert Duvall, Barbara Hershey, and Rachel Ticotin (my favorite Latina hottie).I've got LOTS more, but you asked for one.Falling Down5.Which star do you look for first????Brittney Spears, for a Commando check. If you'd like to play along, please follow these instructions.1.Leave a comment saying "interview me."2.I will respond by e-mailing five questions, which I get to pick.3.You will update your blog with a post containing your answers to the questions.4.In that post, you will include this explanation and an offer to interview others.5.When readers comment and ask to be interviewed, you will send five questions of your choice.? |
