I'm not even sure where to begin at this point.?Here is an update for all my friends out there.I'm a little hysterical right now, and it's not because I'm reading awesome Harry Potter.A couple days ago I got accepted to Stanford Law School.When the Dean of Admissions called me I started laughing hysterically- she said she loves it when she gets that reaction.Doesn't everyone give that reaction?So I told her I was going, and I've rented my trailor to bring my stuff back west to the Bay area.Back to Cali!On another note, I just received my financial aid notification, and I got a fellowship which covers the vast majority of my $39,000 tuition.I can't imagine why, but there it is. I don't even know what to say about that- it's almost, unbelievable.The federal loans will cover $5,000 not covered by the fellowship, and my living expenses.Rent in Palo Alto is pretty high- the place I'm looking at is around $850 a month, utilities included.Another option is living with Mike in San Jose, a 20 minute bus or train ride.Either one would suit me fine I think, and I'd love to live with Mike again, more than anything.It was definitely one of the high points of the possibility of going to Stanford.I miss my friends too much!?I'll also be only 6 hours or so from Humboldt, so expect multiple visits!ayayayaya!! |
