| I followed last week?s news about Eliot Spitzer?obsessively.?It is so interesting to me when these politicians have a fall from grace.?What could they possibly be thinking.?Especially when he knew the ins and outs of wire taps and moving money around.?It was almost like he wanted to get caught to put him out of his misery.?He knew that soliciting/paying a prostitute for sex was illegal, I think?he even put away someone for running a prostitution ring.?Kind of reminds me of?Gary Hart and his Monkey Business.I feel sorry for the wives and the children/kids when the sh*t hits the fan.?If my husband was a politician and he disgraced my family like that, I would not stand there supporting him.?I would let him do the walk of shame by himself.?I would file for divorce and take everything he had.?Say f*ck you pal, so long, sayonara, adios.?I would not stand next to him looking like my puppy just died.?What is up with that!!!!!?Personally I don?t think the prostitute did anything wrong.?She was providing a service, unfortunately, he was willing to pay for it.?Pay for it he did.?I guess you could view it as a cautionary tale.?I think that power is dangerous for some people and they get this Superman mentality and think they?re untouchable.?I guess Spitzer was untouchable for a long time, according to the news, he?s been doing this for years!?YEARS!!!So not only was he cheating on his wife (FOR YEARS!!!), he was also breaking the law.?It?s kind of hard to believe that his wife didn?t know something was up.?Maybe that?s why she was willing to stand there in front of the cameras as he shamed their whole family.?He cheated on her, lied (possibly) to her, broke his vows.?The whole time being holier than thou.?Amazing, amazing story.?As a regular wife/mother it?s kind of?hard to absorb.?Rich people have a real whacked sense of right and wrong. What do you think? Please comment if you read this?blog.? |
