| Soooo... many of you have heard me?speak of the AIDS marathon I am running in December.Well, I have been slowly working out to begin my official training.And now the time has come!Last Thursday I began my training.I joined Gold's gym (additional to my 24 hr fitness membership) and my co-worker and I go EVERY morning at 5:30 am!The first day I did not even run a mile.The second day I ran two.I took a break for pride (a blast) and come Monday morning I was back at it.I ran two and a half miles.Off Tuesday.Ran three and a half?miles Wednesday... and?earned a few?BLISTERS (ouch).Today I could only do one and a half, so I did the stair master as well.I am not a pro at this running thing, so if anyone has tips on how to?NOT get the nasty cramp I get in my ribs (only the right side), or suggestions on where to get in some good track or?hill running... let me know!I am open for ALL advice from any of you runners.I will need it!Tips on good shoes also encouraged!I will keep you all posted.XOXO |
