I was merely walking to the nearest convenience store to get some bread and milk.?I could see some plump, church sisters sauntering towards me, waving copies of The Watchtower.As I approached them, one stuck out of her arm and thrust a copy into my face.?She must have been about mid-forties, healthy, white teeth and a sunny disposition!"No, thank you," I said, firmly but calmly.I smiled at her and walked on."Jesus loves you!" she shouted after me.
I turned back to look at her.?"And I love you!"She thought about this for a second but it failed to compute.?I turned and walked on, leaving the bemused woman to continue with her day of good deeds.If you ever hear someone say something like, "How can they behave like that?"?This is a person with no real grip on reality.Some people are Bad Seed: the total opposite of a 'gifted' person, these folk are just born evil.Some people are Bad Breed: their parents aren't fit to have children; no income, no brains, no morals.Some people are ignorant.Some people don't give a fuck.Some people are just plain desperate.In answer to the question, "How can they behave like that?"?The answer is one of the above.?No need to freak out about declining moral standards.?No need to throw your arms in the air and say, "What is this world coming to?"Welcome to reality.?This is the world we have created.?If you truly have a grip on reality, nothing will surprise you.So, who created this world we live in?Aliens from outer space??The Government??Some secret Masonic lodge?? |
