| One of my photos is going to be published in the literary journal from UC Riverside,?The Mosaic!I also submitted a few poems from my creative writing class and I got the e-mail rejecting them before the e-mail saying that my photo had been accepted.It was sent days ago but I was so upset about being rejected that I didn't check my e-mail until today.I'm not sure when they publish the journal, hopefully before summer.It's the first thing I have ever had published, outside of The Daily Aztec and The Lariat.I spent the rest of the evening looking up other literary journals and submitting 15 photos, poems and stories to one magazine.Here is the picture:I've been finishing up editing the photos I took driving out Highway 94 about a month ago, and when I get a chance, I'll post them up, too.It's exciting to have anything?published, but I'm really hoping I can get some of my writing published soon.I can't wait for school to be over so I can work on my own stuff.Maybe I'll even be able to make some money for it! |
