| Few things piss me off like psychics.Houdini hated psychics.After his mother died he went to a psychic and was angered at realizing he had been conned.To tell someone "you will marry a tall dark stranger..." is one thing, but to tell someone their child is dead is another (5 years ago 12yr old Shawn Hornbeck was kidnapped here in Missouri, distraught, his parents sought the help of "psychic" Sylvia Brown.Sylvia described in detail what Shawnskidnapper looked like -how Shawn was killed, and where his body would be found.His parents were of course even more heartbroken).Well4 yearslaterShawn was found- alive and well.His kidnapper looked nothing like what Sylvia described.Watch this (but keep reading )Penn Gillette (of Penn&Teller)said it best when he said thatPsyhics "shit all over the memory of our loved ones".So long story short, tonight (Wednesday) "Psychic Secrets Revealed" will re-air on t.v. It is on 9pm here, so probably 8pm in Michigan (for those of you who live there) Check tvguide.com under the "listings" section for time and channel.Though I haven't yet seen this program I look forward to it. |
