| Well, I did not make it on the show...The top 3 vote getters are fighting for the spot as we speak, and the rest of us were shut out.I do have to say I had fun and it was a unique experience.I can't believe a lot of people I did not even know were supporting me! I had the majority of the top fans on the site like me and think I should be on the show!It is a great feeling.So for that I thank all of them and all of you who took the time to vote for me. It was a grand effort.:)
Now for the part that is pissing me off...The site never was built correctly.You caould actually vote for someone more than once a day.I never mentioned it to any of you because that would have been unfair to all the others playing.I actually emailed the site to let them know.I decided to take the higher road and not utilize this flaw.Unfortunately others did and cost me to be ranked higher.The top vote getter actually was a self proclaimed pick up artist (I believe) and was trying to get on the show to improve his skills, plus I think he is an on air personality as well, and is promoting his web site.He is not the type of person the show is looking for, but because of his web connections, he was able to acquire over 24000 votes.The other two finalists?did not even submit the required items for each round.For that they should be disqualified.But alas?one of the three will be on the show.How is that for bad luck.All 3 had a bunch of votes, and they were suppose to reset the counts to 0 for everyone, but that never happened.The site was also suppose to present the top 20 to producers for interviews, and that did not even happen.If they would honor that promise, I would have been in the top 20. |
| If they would honor that promise, I would have been in the top 20.I am?trying not to be bitter, but it just hurts after others put a real honest effort into getting on the show (there are a lot of other contestants I would have been happy for if they won), and characters like the top 3 get the glory.If I were the producers I would look hard and choose?a better contestant.?Now on top of all this, I actually submitted directly to the casting directors.I sent in a video, pictures, and an application.I was shocked to receive and email saying they liked the video and wanted more pictures!I actually had a great shot of getting a direct interview!The director said they will be making the decisions in a few weeks, but a few days later they posted a notice stating?in-person casting calls are done.(Needless to say I was never called.)?This means they selected their 7 and the contestants now only had the one spot to fight for.I tell you it was a crazy ride.Fun as well.I just wish it did not have to transpire like it did.Not just me, but a lot of good guys got passed over.Now it is time to look forward.I have so much going for me now that I can't let this get me down.Obviously I still need the help, but I guess it will just come in time.Maybe a season 3 will happen.If so, you may see me again!Thank you all, and watch the show.I am sure it will be great.(Although better with me in it ;) )
