People have created bongs from all kinds of t
This story gives new meaning to the term Pot Head.Last night, I'm watching the office with a friend when a banner flashes at the bottom of the TV advertising KPRC Channel Two news at 10.The highlighted story?Teens use corpse to smoke pot.Of course, we were like, "What the hell did that just say?"Of course we had to watch the news at ten.I never watch the local news but this story just couldn't be about what we just saw.Surely, we read that wrong.Well, we didn't read it wrong. And don't call me Shirley.Turns out, three teenagers dug up a corpse in Kingwood, Texas, not far from Houston, decapitated the body and used its skull to smoke the pot.WOW.And people wonder why I say nothing shocks me anymore. Were these kids really that bored?Did they not have an apple to fashion into a bong?A tin can?Or even the plastic coke bottle?I mean, Jesus, of all the things to make a bong out of; a human skull?Where did they put the weed and where the hell did they inhale from???Logistics aside, this story is just too bizarre for words.Which begs the question: What the fuck is wrong with the world we live in?Back in the early 1900s and even up until the 70s more than likely, when kids were bored, they went outside and kicked a can around:Some actually played sports believe it or not.Of course, they also went out and smoked weed but they smoked it as joints or they actually bought bongs.I think the problem today is that people are so desensitized to death and violence, compounded by the fact that they have sensory overload, that they're always looking for the biggest, baddest, most vile and disgusting thing to top what anyone else has done.Xbox and Playstation have made it so that we can kill and maim and live in virtual worlds as if we?were there, actually killing and maiming. This, to some, is very cathartic, it's stress relief and many see it just as it is: A game.A way to pass the time and maybe improve hand/eye coordination.Others see it as not enough. They want more. They've killed in the game and now they want to see it first hand. This is all I can think of as to the reason these kids decided to dig up this body.Of course, this could also be a conspiracy to get people to believe that video games and excessive exposure to violence, and weed,?causes this.Coincidentally, there's also an article in today's news that says that smoking weed leads to mental illness.Bullshit.These kids had a couple of screws loose before they ever Poked the Smot. These kids need a rubber room with a tailored jacket that ties in the back. Now, I don't know if they dug up the body with the intentions of using it as a bong.I mean, honestly, there are many things that can be fashioned into a bong; a human skull should be at the very bottom of that list.It should be a footnote if anything.Actually, the only way a human skull should be considered as a bong is if you are locked in a dungeon with a human skeleton and a bag of weed and a lighter and you have nothing else within reach. But no, these kids decided, "hmm, human skull, bag of weed.GENIUS!"To prove that you can make a bong out of anything, I present Cameron Diaz smoking from an apple:Here's one from a pineapple:And, of course, the Dew:But no, these kids decided to make a real life pot head (the following is a dramatization of course as the Geico Gecko says)This is why we're all going to hell in a handbasket. This is why nothing surprises me anymore.I can only guess as to what the next big, disgusting, disturbing story will be in the news. And for those who don't believe me, for those who say, "Jason, come on, you're making this up.Nobody dug up a body and used the head to smoke weed from."Ah, to those unbelievers, I present two articles. One from The Drudge Report and one from the Houston Chronicle, proving that these kids are sick fucks and need to find a better use of their time.In their defense, at least they didn't fuck the corpse.Or if they did, they're not admitting to it.I guess they'll take that to the grave.Excuse the pun.HOUSTON - Three teenagers were arrested after two of them told police they dug up a secluded grave north of Houston, removed the skull from the coffin and converted it into a marijuana bong.Police found a grave in the city of Humble that had been disturbed, but were still investigating the rest of the teens' story, Houston police Sgt. John Chomiak said.Kevin Wade Jones, 17, and Matthew Richard Gonzalez, 17, both of Kingwood, were arrested Wednesday night and were being held on misdemeanor charges of abuse of a corpse, Chomiak said. The juvenile was referred to the Harris County juvenile justice system.A woman who answered the phone at Gonzalez's home declined comment.A telephone number for Jones could not immediately be found, and it wasn't clear from court records if either had an attorney.Police were interviewing Jones about the use of a stolen debit card when he told them about the grave theft, which purportedly occurred around March 15, according to court documents.Asked why Jones would volunteer such a story, Chomiak said, "We can only speculate and guess to what goes on in the criminal mind."Gonzalez confirmed the story to investigators in a follow-up interview.Police were led to a heavily wooded site in Humble where they found a knocked-over headstone and water-filled hole more than 4 feet deep.At the time, the muddy water did not allow police to see if the coffin had been disturbed."They dug into this gravesite and that was enough to warrant the abuse of corpse charge," Chomiak said."There has to be further investigation into the actual gravesite."Police believe the grave is that of an 11-year-old boy who died in 1921.Preliminary reports indicate it was part of a 19th-century veterans cemetery, Chomiak said. While residents in the area knew of the cemetery's existence, it did not appear to be maintained.Houston Chronicle:
