| So as many of you know I have a list of 25 things to do before I turn 25.?Looking back at that list I am realizing that I apparently thought I would be a millionaire by then haha.?I set some pretty un-realistic goals (at least money wise) but hey, a girl has got to dream.?There is one that I can do but I am unsure about it.?First of all I wanted to grow my hair to my butt.?The thing is it's just not getting there even after all this time.?When it's straight it is only about 4 inches away or less, it comes to the middle of my whale tattoo, but no matter how long I let it grow it jut won't get that long.?So I think I may have to give that one up for now.?The next one is I wanted to chop off my hair and give it to either Locks of Love or the Pantene Beautiful Locks program.For me this is a HUGEEEEEEEEEEE decision.?Anyone who has known me a long time knows (as stupid as it sounds) my hair is me.?It's the one thing about me I have learned to love.?It took me forever to learn how to work with it and make it not a huge frizzy mess.?I honestly really am attached to my hair (no pun intended) so it's hard to think about cutting a big chunk of my hair.? |
| I honestly really am attached to my hair (no pun intended) so it's hard to think about cutting a big chunk of my hair.?It's the one thing people complement me on.?I sound whiney huh??Most people would say it's just hair.?It's hair that took me YEARS to grow after multiple bad haircuts any everything.Why I am thinking about this now and not waiting is because now that I have had bariatric surgery I have about another 2 months until my hair will start to thin out.?Then in months 3-6 it will be crap (even though I will be sooo good about drinkng my protein and taking vitamins).?I don't want it to be super long and scraggly looking.?After 6 months it starts to grow back and get thicker up until around 9 months where it will be back to normal.?I am not sure I want to wait a year or so to give it away, I would rather do it now and have it done with.?Then I have two months for it to keep growing before it starts turning to crap.?So basically I want some opinions even though I am pretty sure I am going to do it.?Now I just need to find a place to go get it cut and someone to take pictures while it's happening.?I think I will go to Haute Spa in Point Loma because they include a scalp massage and parafin hand dip in the cost and I will need some TLC to get me through cutting off my hair.?K that's all for now. |
