| I've asked my friend Lavendar_Roses to interview me and the questions she has given me appear below along with my answers.:
====================================================
1.What songs would you have playing for the soundtrack of your life?Why or why not?Someone asked me this one before with a survey and I passed on it because I just couldn't narrow my life's events down to specific songs.Guess I can't pass on it this time, huh?OK, so let's see....for my birth year (and age 0-10), I would select the slinky theme song.Yeah, you know the one.Seemed like I was getting hurt a lot as a child.When I was 8, I burned my back with a pot of boiling coffee.I sunburned easily.I sat up suddenly in a bed in our Winnebago motor home and cut a gash in my scalp (I still think I lost some brains when that happened).I got hit in the mouth by a pitch during my very first at-bat in little league baseball.For my teen years, I would select All By Myself by Eric Carmen because it was those years that I probably felt more alone than any other time in my life.I didn't date much, so I stayed busy with schoolwork, never really got invited to parties or anything like that. |
| I didn't date much, so I stayed busy with schoolwork, never really got invited to parties or anything like that.My date for the junior prom was one of convenience.My date actually asked me out so neither one of us would have to go alone.I was always pretty much by myself.My 20's would probably be Welcome To The Jungle by Guns & Roses, because that was when I pretty much found myself out in the real world, working, and struggling to build a life for myself.My 20's were also the time when my kids were born and my first marriage began and ended.My 30's, hmmmm, that would be Toby Keith's Be Somebody because that was the time in my life that I rediscovered my bachelorhood, started my karaoke business and found love all over again with Nettie.That was a revival of my party years and a time in life when it was nice to get drunk and be somebody.And finally my 40's and present day, I kinda like How Do You Like Me Now?also by Toby Keith.To all those people who looked at me way back when and didn't really give me a second look.I don't think I turned out quite so bad...see what you missed out on?I'm thinking the song for my 50's might be They're Coming to Take Me Away, ha ha....2.Is it possible to love someone and hate them at the same time?Why or Why not? |
