| I did an amazing thing (for me) this weekend!I ran a half marathon!!!I was so proud of myself when I crossed that finish line... but immediately afterward all I could do was walk around?to fight off the nausea!I cooled down, and then had two sports massages.(They are awesome) I finished the 13.1 miles in 3:06:12 which is about 14.2 minutes per mile.Running takes me on an emotional journey, one of love and strength.Never before have I felt such pride in myself.?Sensations so?intense I hesitate to share them, they were deeply personal.?I am very thrilled that I raised money for a fantastic cause, and accomplished a challenge that I never thought I would, or could.I am signed up to run another half marathon in January in Maui (for fun, not for a specific cause) and I have set some other goals for myself as well.I am contemplating hiking Half Dome in August (on the 8th) and running a full marathon in November.I am already signed up to do the AIDS LifeCycle in June as many of you know!I look forward to challenging myself in so many ways, not only physical!(But this is sure a neat adventure)A few of you have asked if it is still possible to donate to my marathon cause, and the answer is YES.Follow the link:
