| So I'm sure I'm gonna piss some people off, but I need to put this out there.?And I need some opinions on top of that.?Here's the deal:?I get mail from people about all kinds of topics.?Safety, politics, religion, the occult, etc.?I'd have to say the common thread is that it is intended to be inflammatory in one way or another.?It is supposed to make you angry about Iraq, Democrats, Republicans, child abuse, ghosts, mermaids, health care, food, animals, weather, aliens, you name it.?It also shares the common attribute of pissing me the hell off.?It wastes my time.?It spreads the intellectual equivalent of rotting garbage.?Unrecycleable garbage.Item One:?If you can't back it up, don't send it to me.Item Two:?If you're just trying to get me riled up, don't send it to me.Question One:?What is the best way to stop the well meaning shock spam?Question Two:?How much shock spam is it reasonable for me to wade through before I can legitimately put people on /junk, /unfriend, /etc ?Help me out here, I am feeling out of my league with the quantity of stuff I get.?These are very nice people that I do not wish to offend, but I need an appropriate solution.P.S.?Currently I am attempting to debunk the stuff I get and let the sender know the results.?Feedback? |
