Happy Mother?s Day to all my sweet friends... |
| So many of you sent Mother's day wishes and I want to thank you all.?I have met some incredible people here on the internet, and I hope to keep contact with you always.?Every one of you have shined a light on an otherwise dark day for me.?You've been my Godsends.?THANK YOU and I love you very, very much.?:)
Yesterday, my children, Cody, 18 and Tyler 16, made the announcement that they are going into the National Guard.?My daughter, Cody,?has already signed up.?This comes so soon after losing Brian that I had to get in my car and drive around the lake to my and Brians spot and cry.?I'm proud of them, yes, but I fear for them even more.?I don't think I could live through the deployment of another one of my beloved babies. In my conversation with Brian, he comforted me by letting me know that the kids just want to pick up where he left off, and that they would be alright.?Brian would have encouraged the kids, and been proud of them for standing for what they believe in.Brian?will always be right here beside me, and he will always be watching out for his siblings.?I just wish someone would tell my heart that it is going to be alright.I am proud to have raised honorable children.?I'm proud to know that they live without fear.?I am proud to know that they do this because they want to, because they want to do it for Brian, because they want to do it for their Country.?I've raised Warriors.A few blogs back I mentioned riding past the local prison thinking, there they are, walking around with full bellies, soon to be released to do more harm to society than good...and now my kids are picking up guns, honorably, and willingly going to defend their homeland.?I feel blessed that God has deemed me worthy enough to have children who want to carry their weight and make something of their lives.?I thank God for all three of my kids. What a Mother's Day gift, eh?Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present the faces of the future:16 year old, Tyler, and his girlfreind.Brian, and Cody, 18
So, I guess that we could say that?the Weeping Widow?didn't rip apart a family.?She simply made us stronger.?Brian will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be honored by his siblings, his Mother, and his family members.God be with my Babies as they go off to become more than they could be.?We made them strong.?The Army will make them stronger.God's love.?Remember us in your prayers.Pamela?-Dedicated in Memory of her Warrior, her Son, and her Guardian Angel,SPC Brian Patrick Shaver.http://www.mandatoryautopsylaw.comI will NOT stand down!??GIVE MY SON HIS AUTOPSY!BRING MY SON HOME!?HE is my "Heart".* * *
