| Strange Tails of a Cartoon NationLate friday evening, a loss for anything to do on a friday night, I was messing around in paint shop - painting surprisingly.Unfortunately paint shop doesn't really live up to the name - you can not buy any paintings!You have to make your own!????????(I always forget that Americans used "store" to mean "shop" and "shop" means like "workshop")Anyway my first creation was this: Moi ... any good artist does a self-portrait right?So then I tried out my techiniques on other pups and as I went along my style got better - It was kinda like pop art reallyLucy - originally I did it without any shadow really like mine but then i added a bit for depthI think my Second attempt at KB is far betterTo do these drawings - I first draw freehand an outline just using my mouse while looking and a picture and then I use a round paint brush tools set at various colour capacitys to put the colour onI think I need a little more practice on cats - I just seem to give them cattitude!I think my technique is improving though ...I give them "cool" names just to be even more artistic you know ;)What do you think?Improving?If you do want one then do ask - you might not get it straight away (as the missus is meant to be revising) but you are welcome to ask for one and will recieve it in a few days from askingNow i just need to perfect a signature!Or do you think I should be really arsty and event a whole new name? |
