| Dang!?Computer Repair...the hardest class that I am taking at Sierra.?I thought this would be my kind of thing, but I don't know crap ab out a computer internally...especially the motherboard.?I can't believe how confusing it is from the address bus to the control bus to the CPU to the BIOS Chip all the way to the formatting pin.?All of it just goes over my head sometimes.?I thought I was a computer nerd, but I guess I can now thankfully declare myself computer geek free.?I mean, sure, I know about Word and Excel and PowerPoint.?I think I'll just stick with the basics for now.?Unfortunately, I can't really drop the class given that deadline has long since passed.?Other than that, campus life isn't bad.?BTW, anyone who reads this should seriously consider a pizza from the cafeteria.?They're fucking good dude!?I've already spent way too much money on them.?Especially the sausage pizza, which is my fave.?The shitty part is, there is no such thing as a free lunch.?When you walk around you see hints of different cultures everywhere.?Asians, tree huggers, preps, jocks, coastal gurus.?There are people of different types everywhere.?Just one of the reasons that I love this campus so much.?Another factor that I can't get enough of is that I have almost and hour and a half in between each class.?That's enough time to finish my homework that I always put off 'til the last minute.?By the way, parking is bloody hell.?If I get there 12 minutes before my class starts, I will be spending at least that long trying to locate a parking spot.?I don't know why, but they really don't have enough.?It seems to me that the richest school?that I have ever been to would at least make some better accomodations for their students.?Eventually when I find a parking spot way out in the fucking boonies, I'm a mile away and 20 minutes late for my next class.?In fact, just yesterday I didn't even have school and I went to the library to finish up my homework...it took me half a fucking hour to find a spot and by that time I could have had it done.?{sigh} If only the Sierra College staff could be reading this right now.?Well, that is all I have to say for now.?Anyone who?goes to Sierra next year, contact me on my the internet page.?DO IT!? |
