Attention Bleeding Hearts (rant)
Have you ever been so disgusted you didn't even have words?Read this from the Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph: Grant caught with 23 bags of crack, cops say May 6, 2008 - 4:37PM By LANCE BENZEL THE GAZETTEA Colorado Springs man who earned an early release from prison in the random slayings of two boys on Valentine's Day 1997 is back in custody.Jeron Jontae Grant, 28, was arrested during a traffic stop April 30 after a Colorado Springs police officer found 23 baggies of crack cocaine in his Chevrolet Suburban, police said in an arrest affidavit.According to police, Grant, whose hands were shaking during the encounter in the 2300 block of Boulder Street, later told an officer he started selling drugs because he was "going through a hard time financially."Grant was convicted in 1998 of being an accessory to second-degree murder in the deaths of Andrew Westbay, 13, and Scott Hawrysiak, 15.The boys were killed by shotgun blasts Feb. 14, 1997, while walking home from a friend's house in Cheyenne Meadows.Grant, 17 at the time, received a 12-year sentence. He was paroled three years early in 2006 but was sent to the El Paso County jail to serve an 18-month sentence for contempt of court for refusing to testify against his accomplice, Gary Flakes.Grant was released from jail seven months early because of good behavior and his participation in the jail's work program. He has been free on parole since August. After his arrest April 30, Grant was returned to the county jail on a $10,000 bond.He is due in court today in front of Chief 4th Judicial District Judge Kirk Samelson. He is expected to be charged with unlawful distribution of cocaine, a class 3 felony.Prosecutors could not be reached to discuss whether they will seek to revoke his parole.Grant was pulled over about 11 p.m. after two officers in a patrol car saw his sport utility vehicle cross a center line and then turn without signaling at Boulder Street and Platte Avenue, police said.He told the officers, William Wallace and Shane Alvarez, that his passenger was a customer and planned to buy crack from him. That man was identified in the affidavit as 26-yearold Kevin Chisson. The baggies contained a total of 9.6 grams of cocaine, police said.Flakes, 27, was 16 at the time of the double murder. He was convicted of accessory to murder and received a 15-year sentence. In 2007, his parole hearing was delayed until sometime this year.Police at the time said Grant admitted he was the trigger man and wanted to kill someone "to get something off my chest."Prosecutors had no direct physical evidence or murder weapon, and both teens were acquitted of first-degree murder.Accompanying this article was a photo of the offender, baby-faced and looking like a deer in headlights.Think about this for a minute. At age 17, this guy executed two random CHILDREN because something pissed him off (which apparently - in his universe - justifies randomly targeting the world for payback). His 16-year-old accomplice was apparently as devoid of conscience as he was, and neither could be "broken" during interrogation.End result?Apparently TELLING a cop you killed isn't enough to secure a conviction. You have to tell the RIGHT cops at the RIGHT time and in the RIGHT place, or be caught standing in a pool of your victim's blood with photographic evidence of your crime on hand in order to be convicted. This sickens me. There are two families out there who each lost a child FOREVER for no reason. The fucker who took their lives with a SHOTGUN, ferchrissake, served a mere NINE YEARS for this crime.WTF?!If you can get "time off" for "good behavior", can't you get some fucking "time on" for overkill, excessive brutality, or whatever you want to call it?So Homeboy serves a pathetic nine years for his two deliberate and premeditated murders, PLUS he got to vent that nasty anger that was pestering him.Oh, but wait!Homes did have to do more time ... seven whole months for refusing to confess exactly what he'd done when he WAS in the right place at the right time - i.e., during interrogation. Not even 10 years, kids. He's barely halfway through his 20s, and he's walking! What did Junior learn from his adventures?Based on results, not a motherfucking thing. In no time he was immersed in dealing crack.I wonder what the parents of his victims felt when they heard their baby's killer was out free and walking the same streets on which he'd gunned down their child?I can't even fathom that kind of grief. It is obscene and indecent that ANY family should know this grief.Shame on you, Colorado.Ironically, I grew up in Colorado. In this very city, as a matter of fact.I walked the same schoolhalls the victims' parents may have walked when THEY were 13 and 15 ... and 16 and 17.Colorado was a kickass place to grow up right until the gang problem got out of control in L.A. That's when all the parents of budding young gangstas moved to quiet places like Colorado Springs to get their kids away from the gangs.Unfortunately, their kids brought their mentality and gang culture with them, and it wasn't long before the virus claimed every disenfranchised kid in sight.I fucking hate gangs; I hate little hoodlums; I hate parents who refuse to do their job and raise their damn kid, but point at the schools and everywhere but themselves in blame.More than all of that, though, I fucking HATE the California bleeding-heart mentality that weeps for the rights of the criminal while the victims remain cold and silent - unable to testify from six feet underground.I, for one, have never forgotten CSPD Officer Mark Dabbling, who was shot in the back and killed by a man whose defense was, "I can't be held accountable - I was on drugs."Believe it or not, that defense worked, and Officer Dabbling paid with his life for that asshole's early freedom just by showing up for duty that night to "protect and serve".The bleeding hearts came out in droves to speak out against putting that drugged-up cop killer to death.I wonder how many of them shed a single tear as the Rev. Dan Adams delivered Officer Dabbling's eulogy ... or as line after line of cruisers and patrol cycles joined the motorcade to Mark's final resting place as the bagpipes played "Amazing Grace"?I cried a lot.I cried for Mark Dabbling, and for his family.I digress.Back to THIS fucking piece of shit child killer...Homeboy kills two random kids just to blow off some tension, and serves less than ten years for it.He's free for a matter of months before he's got himself back in deep in the gangsta lifestyle - making money for the crew and a "lil su'm-su'm" for himself.Dumbass gets caught, AGAIN confesses exactly what he was doing to the arresting officers, and AGAIN, the brilliant legal minds of Colorado can't say whether or not they'll be able to find some technicality to hook this fish with so he'll stir a little longer than a couple months for possession.Again ...WTF?!Personally, I think what happens to this waste of flesh should be up to the families of the children who are JUST AS DEAD today as they were ten years ago when this fucker put them in the ground.Get it bleeding hearts everywhere: a thug is a thug is a motherfucking thug.Time isn't going to change them.Pity for their lost childhood or innocence is not going to change them.Your heart bleeding all over the graves of their victims is not going to change them.Feel sorry for the VICTIMS!Feel sorry for all of the victims.Feel nothing for psychopaths like this who would CERTAINLY feel nothing for you if it were your body at the business end of their shotgun.Comedian Ron White has said of Texas, "We have the death penalty, and we use it!While other states are debating the death penalty, we've put in an express lane!"I say bring this little gangsta's surly ass to Texas and let US hook him up.Hell, I'll do it myself, and guess what?I'll feel as guilty about flash-frying Homeboy as he felt committing HIS crimes.Homeboy and every cheapshit petty thug just like him will sleep soundly tonight. Will you?
