| no, i didn't read this book and i don't want to, i don't do insightful shit written by some butthead !I know someone who is reading it though and i just asked what the jist (?)of it was....apparently it's five people pivotal in this guys life at the time of his death....how fucking stupid !first, how do you put a number on something like that or is everyone's different ?...and wtf is "pivotal", it may rule out a bunch of other people who were very very important but didn't alter your?"way of being" or vice versa ?Since i didn't read the book or anything, I'll go over "frank's book".....because my book would have to be the 1000 or so people who earned my trust, respect, compassion, and loyalty?that i will never forget....everI prob need a little chapter just on the internet friends...lol...because at some certain point in time, even the smallest thing or trivial sounding was way way important then...even if that person never realizes it or gets a thanks...just like the funeral i'm going too, someone said "are you going to be a pall bearer"...I'm like no, there is way way way many people ahead of me....def....and i did get disconnected from mike in the last few years cause i quit drinking and we didn't see each other very often anymore, because we hung out a long time ago and drank together and watch steeler games....for many years and alot of times.?I know some people will not even know who I am at the funeral.....alot of times now I'm like a ghost coming out of people's past that i'm disconnected to in the present.I"m going for more than just knowing him too but his family, was I pivotal in his life or he in mine, not in that sense....My friend PJ called after he died and just said we should all go over thogether (meaning the people from my old neighborhood)...and PJ prob knew him the least....but it didn't really matter, like funerals in the past my friends would all meet outside and go in as ONE....well it looks like only three of us can go at the same time (and i'm pissed now at one person cause their not).....because all of us going in as one shows that you always have our loyalty...(back to the neighborhood thing)OK, i'm drifting from my point here....lol....because i think it is all the people you meet no matter how small or short in time that changes you....not a number of people ?...or who was "pivotal" because I'm still remembering one person now, who i dont know saw for only a few seconds but made a difference, she said "good morning"....well you could hear that everyday....but it was the when that mattered....cause i was standing outside of a hospital room looking like i''m about to lose it and slide down the wall....and she was a nurse or something (and most people kinda ignore you in the hospital) looked at the pain on my face, looked me in the eye and said that, and it made me get my shit together....so at that point in time..she played a very important role.........so how the fuck do flashback to all that ?...a kind gesture at the right time ?....and if your ever in a really shitty situation, you don't need all inspiring words from someone, just a look or hey !why don't you come over and watch game....means alot, when your really hurting....and?i don't forget that shit.....everSo, my book would be, the many people who gave frank advice which he didn't follow but never gave up on him......and the book could be five fucking pages or something....then I would need a "special thanks" section or "also contributed"...lol, that lasts a thousand pages...lol...and one entry would be:"nurse in hospital who said good morning" |
