| Well, I must say things are great.I love where I live.Mountain View is pretty and quiet, and lots of coffee.And- I live very close to REI!!!My first week at school has been awesome. My classes are entertaining, tiny tiny tiny and interesting. All of the students are extremely nice and the cool thing is that there are so few of them, that they notice when they don't know someone (like me).So I get a lot of people introducing themselves, which is nice.I joined Black Law Students Association and Environmental Law Society on Friday. My Animal Law class is rad, and strangely enough, Evidence is great and very entertaining.I love the opportunity to be taught by these people who are at the top of their game, or at one time, were the top of the game.Going to a private school is a very different experience than UW- you can tell that there is money.Example: my catered lunch the other day was baked salmon, grilled vegetables and this great eggplant dish. The speakers that come all of the time are well known people who speak about current events in the law- I'm really lucky to have such easy access to these speakers. And they happen ALL the time! The on campus interview process is finally over.My callback week is all filled up, and I'm leaving for San Diego on Friday.1 interview there with Latham and Watkins, and then I'm off to Seattle for the rest of my interviews with firms like Perkins Coie and Davis Wright Tremaine for positions in their environmental and energy law practice groups.Things are going well- I hope I make more friends soon- that seems to be the only thing that is missing.I'm glad Mike lives here- I dont know what I'd do without him!We study, bike and dream of our future as famous dog mushers.(dont tell my animal law classmates)
